10 fun activities to chase away those rainy day blues, using those good old-fashioned wooden blocks!

1-Read a story with your child, then have them build the setting to the story with their blocks. Imagine Hogwarts castle, Rapunzel’s Tower, or the places in Neverland. Encourage them to incorporate other toys or household objects. Make a flag from a toothpick and paper or fabric. Use a dab of clay to connect the flag to the block building. Get out the action figures or toy animals. This could grow into a full day of imaginative play.
